AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency Now Includes Database Solutions

The AWS Partner Network (APN) is excited to announce updates to the AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency, as well as introduce the latest wave of talented APN Partners with Microsoft Workloads Competency status!

This Competency has been updated to provide our customers with an easy way of finding skilled APN Partners to match their Windows workload migration goals, and to apply a stringent validation process to ensure expert delivery by qualified APN Consulting Partners.

Based on feedback from our customers and APN Partners, we have combined the SharePoint and Exchange competencies under a new “Productivity Solutions” category, while SQL Server will be represented within the category “Database Solutions”. This will allow customers to easily identify and engage the right solution APN Partners.

APN Partners with AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency status have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in the design, migration, deployment, and management of Microsoft-based applications on AWS, with specific focus on workloads based on Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Exchange Server.

APN Partners with AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency status are qualified through a detailed assessment and third-party audit of the security, performance, and reliability of their solutions and must demonstrate a deep understanding of and adherence to AWS architectural best practices, overall and also relative to Microsoft applications and technologies.

This status represents a uniquely qualified set of solution providers whom customers can look to for proven capability and maturity in their Microsoft solution/practice on AWS.

Today, we are excited to announce that 10 new APN Partners have attained the AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency for Database Solutions, and in addition that two of these APN Partners have also achieved the AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency for Productivity Solutions.

We are also pleased to announce that two APN Partners, Datapipe and InfoReliance, have also attained the AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency for Productivity Solutions. This area of the Competency recognizes APN Partners for their validated expertise and architectural best practices for Microsoft SharePoint or Exchange running on AWS.

APN Partner solutions address areas including content management, search and workflows (SharePoint), optimized communications management (Exchange), design, access, and administrative control, high availability, compliance and security.
