To grow with AWS, partners can pursue Competency designations which validate an organization’s expertise through rigorous assessment by AWS experts. By meeting requirements around projects, certifications, and capabilities, partners can demonstrate their proficiency and earn an AWS specialization badge in specific industries, use cases, or workloads. Attaining an AWS Competency distinguishes partners, but the preparation process also transforms practices.

As we continue to transform the AWS Partner experience, we’re excited to share updates to the Validation Checklists (VCL) for AWS Specialization Programs (AWS Competency, Managed Service Provider, Service Delivery, and Service Ready). Effective January 1, 2024, the updates drive efficiencies during onboarding, allowing partners to achieve an AWS Specialization faster and making it easier to utilize benefits.

In the ever-expanding digital landscape, the need for global accessibility has become paramount. Mission Cloud, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and leader in harnessing generative AI on AWS, joined forces with MagellanTV to reshape content delivery on the company’s documentary streaming platform, which contains a massive library of over 3,000 series that are accessible through top streaming platforms. This success story was featured during Ruba Borno’s Partner Keynote at AWS re:Invent 2023.

AWS PrivateLink allows customers to securely connect cloud and on-premises data sources to Alation’s data catalog without exposing traffic to the public internet. This integration provides private connectivity between the customer’s VPC and Alation Cloud Service and simplifies network architecture. Using PrivateLink with Alation enables organizations to build a catalog of metadata from selected data assets while maintaining compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

AWS launched a Generative AI Center of Excellence to help partners keep pace with rapid advancements in generative AI. We’ll continue adding generative AI resources to accelerate strategies that enable partners to help customers adopt generative AI securely, responsibly, and cost-effectively.

We are excited to highlight 198 AWS Partners that received new or renewed specializations in November for our global AWS Competency, AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP), AWS Service Delivery, and AWS Service Ready programs. These designations span workload, solution, and industry, and help AWS customers identify top AWS Partners that can deliver on core business objectives.
