Generative AI Augments Marriott’s Cybersecurity Posture with AWS Partners Deloitte and Palo Alto Networks
Marriott’s CISO Arno Van Der Walt manages cybersecurity through a “human-centered, data-driven, technology-enabled” approach aimed at making security frictionless. Critical partnerships with AWS, Deloitte, and Palo Alto Networks leverage AI/ML to share threat data and empower “impossible” autonomous security. Together, their tri-party services provide an end-to-end platform unifying business and security data to detect threats and enable quick response.
Thank you for joining us in Las Vegas for AWS re:Invent 2023. We hope you enjoyed all of the educational content and big announcements. The security pillar of the AWS Well-Architected Framework describes how to take advantage of cloud technologies to protect data, systems, and assets in a way that improves security posture. The security pillar doesn’t just apply to AWS regions and Availability Zones but also to hybrid cloud solutions on premises. In this post, we’ll focus on security using AWS Snowball Edge and how Palo Alto Network’s VM-Series firewall is deployed and configured to secure access to a 5G core application providing cellular 5G connectivity.
Security is job zero at AWS and is one of the most important design principles of a Well-Architected Framework. Learn how to implement a 5G end-to-end security model based on Zero Trust principles using Palo Alto Networks’ 5G-native security solution for highly distributed and cloud-native 5G networks—with containerized 5G security and real-time threat correlation among 5G users, device identifiers, and a 5G network slice.
Please join us in congratulating our 2022 AWS Partners of the year from India! Each year, we honor members of the AWS Partner Network (APN) who are leaders in the channel and play key roles in helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS. Announced throughout the year, AWS Partner Awards recognize a wide range of born-in-the-cloud and traditional services and software partners whose business models have embraced specialization and collaboration.
Say Hello to 133 New AWS Competency, Service Delivery, Service Ready, and MSP Partners Added in July
We are excited to highlight 133 AWS Partners that received new designations in July for our global AWS Competency, AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP), AWS Service Delivery, and AWS Service Ready programs. These designations span workload, solution, and industry, and help AWS customers identify top AWS Partners that can deliver on core business objectives. AWS Partners are focused on your success, helping customers take full advantage of the business benefits AWS has to offer.
The security landscape continues to evolve, making it a challenge for customers to modernize and stay up to date with use cases and threats. We are excited to expand the AWS Security Competency with eight new categories to help customers find and acquire a range of partner services and software, all of which are validated by AWS and address a full suite of security use cases. To keep up with the fast pace of the security marketplace, these categories will expand over time with additional use cases.
As customers continually move towards hybrid cloud architectures, it has become increasingly important to address network security requirements for having a centralized security inspection solution between VMware Cloud on AWS and the native AWS environment, on-premises data centers, and the internet. Through this post, learn how to integrate preferred third-party firewall solutions with VMware Cloud on AWS, by leveraging the VMware Transit Connect feature.
AWS is building a partner community that is the most customer-centric in the world and creates long-term success for AWS and our committed partners. One of the ways we do this is by focusing our investments on independent software vendors (ISVs) that extend the reach of the AWS Cloud and provide our customers with more choice. These trusted AWS Partners provide feature-rich experiences on AWS to support customers’ enterprise IT needs.
