The Republic of Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry and AWS have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of modernizing the technological infrastructure of the state and accelerating the adoption of cloud services in the public and the private sector of Armenia. The collaboration with AWS, a global leader in cloud computing, provides a unique opportunity to drive Armenia’s modernization and digital transformation, an integral part of the national agenda and a catalyst to strengthen Armenia’s position as a regional leading technology hub.

To better understand the challenges and opportunities in digital healthcare adoption, think tank ACCESS Health International and the AWS Institute conducted research across 12 countries in the Asia Pacific in order to understand government and industry perspectives on cloud adoption for public healthcare. I had the pleasure of taking the stage in Brussels and giving the keynote presentation at our first-ever European Public Sector Summit. I was inspired by the hundreds of organizations in attendance and by the number of whom have embraced the cloud to support their digital transformation initiatives. I also was awed by how much our customers have been able to achieve using AWS technology, notably the European Commission and Santillana. These leaders shared stories of saving money and delivering innovative digital solutions through AWS that are helping to build a better future.
