Who should attend AWS Summit Zurich?
Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at the AWS Summit Zurich. This event is designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.
It features a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements, customer testimonials and technical sessions led by AWS experts. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

In which languages will the session be presented?
All the sessions will be presented in English.

Do you accept submissions for speakers/session ideas?
At this time, we do not accept submissions for AWS Summit speakers or session content although we always appreciate customer feedback.

How do I register?

What is the price of registration?
Registration for the AWS Summit Zurich is free.

What is included in AWS Summit Zurich registration?
AWS Summit Zurich registration gives you access to the keynote, all breakout sessions, the Partner Solutions Expo and closing reception. Drinks and meals offered during the day. Accomodation is not included in the registration.

Where is my confirmation email?
If you have registered, you should have received a confirmation email shortly after registering. If you haven't received a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. Once you have checked your spam folder, if you still haven't received your confirmation email, please contact us.

What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your AWS Summit Zurich registration by contacting us.

How is session attendance managed?
Onsite at AWS Summit Zurich, sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. We recommend you use the AWS Events mobile app to help organize your day, and allow plenty of time to navigate between rooms. Download the mobile app for Android or IOS.
For the keynote, there are only 1,300 seats in the Keynote Hall which will be filled at a first-come, first-seated basis. If you can't get a seat there, the keynote will be streamed in any of the breakout session rooms.

How do I get to the venue?

When does registration open?
Registration opens at 08:00 on 4 September 2024.

How do I check in at the event?
To collect your event badge, you will need the QR code as well as government issued photo ID. A reminder of this will be sent closer to the event.

Is there a lost & found onsite?
You found something? Or lost anything? You will get any lost & found information at the AWS Helpdesk (located between Partner Expo and Keynote Hall).

Is there a wardrobe and luggage storage onsite?
Yes, you will find a wardrobe & luggage storage on site.

Is there an app for the event?
The AWS Events app will be available to download one week before the event and will allow you to view all sessions taking place, manage your calendar for the day of the event and more. More details will be share with registered attendees closer to the time.

What accessibility accommodations are available?
The AWS Summit Zurich, at Halle 550, has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. If you need additional assistance or have accommodation requests, please contact us at least one week prior to the event. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

What special dietary requirements are accommodated?
Vegetarian / Vegan options are labelled at lunch. Please ask us for gluten free, Halal or Kosher food options.

How is my data shared?
If you offer to have your badge scanned by a sponsor or at a sponsor-branded session, you are requesting AWS share your name, contact information, title, and company with that sponsor so it may contact you by email, phone, and post for marketing purposes. This is optional - you may choose not to offer your badge. For questions, please refer to the AWS Privacy Notice. Contact the sponsor to unsubscribe from the sponsor’s marketing communications. Providing the sponsor with your information may involve transferring it to another country. For questions about how the sponsor will handle your information, please contact the sponsor directly or refer to its privacy policy.

AWS expects all Summit participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, etc.) to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive environment while at the conference and any conference-related events. For more information read the full AWS Code of Conduct.
