In addition to the Innovation Day keynote, we are featuring sessions that will help you understand Amazon’s approach to innovation and take you inside an Amazon Fulfillment Center to see how this has helped us deliver unprecedented scale and hyper speed for customers.
  • Amazon’s approach to innovation starts with the customer, and works backwards from there. Its strategic framework is comprised of four, interdependent elements: a defined culture of innovation, mechanisms to support it at speed and scale, a robust technology architecture, and an organizing structure that empowers teams to focus relentlessly on the needs of their customers. This session aims to inspire and inform leaders who are embarking on their own innovation journey.
  • Amazon strives to maintain a Day 1 culture and operating model that is curious and customer-obsessed, embraces new trends, and supports high-quality decision-making at speed. In this session, Phil Le-Brun, AWS Enterprise Strategist and former Senior Technology Leader at McDonald’s Corporation, explores how business leaders can instill the skillset, toolset, and mindset needed to build a more agile and innovative organization.

  • Learn how agile technology is powering the latest concept in manufacturing, Industry 4.0, through the development of smart production, product, and demand forecasting models. This session includes a virtual tour of an Amazon fulfillment center, where you’ll get deeper insight into how Amazon uses technology to optimize its supply chain network and delivery operations.
