New this year, AWS Partners can self-nominate themselves to be considered across a variety of AWS Partner Award categories, all related to partner focus areas, technologies, and the significant impact partners are making in delighting our customers. Award submissions will be reviewed and selected with special emphasis placed on customer success use cases presented in the nomination form. All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM PST on September 15, 2022.

The increased need to support large amounts of business data exchange, a stronger need for data governance, security, and compliance, and a proliferation of data sources has driven many companies to seek native solutions for Managed File Transfer and B2B file exchange. AWS Transfer Family Service Delivery Partners provide the expertise, proven success, and validated solutions that allow customers to move to a modernized, cloud-native MFT and B2B file exchange solution.

Customers are looking for supply chain technology capabilities to meet these challenges. The new AWS Supply Chain Competency features top AWS Partners who provide professional services and cloud-native supply chain solutions on AWS. These solutions enable companies of every size and segment to enhance their responsiveness to customers, strengthen their resilience to disruptions, and become more responsible to the environment and global community.

The AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency makes it easy for customers to quickly find validated solution providers qualified to deliver solutions that have been uniquely designed for cloud environments. We are excited to announce specialization categories for the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency. These categories help customers find the ideal solution provider based on the specific managed security need they are facing. We invite you to explore the following Level 1 MSSP Partner offerings recommended by AWS.

The security landscape continues to evolve, making it a challenge for customers to modernize and stay up to date with use cases and threats. We are excited to expand the AWS Security Competency with eight new categories to help customers find and acquire a range of partner services and software, all of which are validated by AWS and address a full suite of security use cases. To keep up with the fast pace of the security marketplace, these categories will expand over time with additional use cases.

AWS partners have asked us to do more to help them build analytics-driven applications, so we are excited to announce the launch of the ‘Powered by Amazon Redshift’ program. This program enables ISVs to build their applications using Amazon Redshift—our fully-managed cloud data warehouse service—and deliver fast, easy, and secure analytics at any scale available within their applications. With Amazon Redshift powering applications, ISVs can drive up to 3X price performance compared to any other cloud data warehouse.

AWS is excited to announce that 85 new, additional countries are now approved for the Commercial Channel Programs which consists of the AWS Solution Provider Program and AWS Distribution Program. This announcement means AWS Partners located in these countries are now allowed into our reseller programs, which greatly accelerates AWS’s ability to expand into these regions by several years. Authorized AWS Distributors already have coverage in 60 of the 85 newly-authorized countries.

The goal of the AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program is to recognize partners that provide the best AWS Cloud managed service experience for their customers. To this effect, we periodically publish updates to the AWS MSP Partner Program Validation Checklist which defines the criteria and requirements for the AWS MSP Partner Program. We’re pleased to share the latest updates in version 5.0 of the validation checklist.

AWS Partners are building successful migration and modernization practices to help customers with their workloads, and partners are leveraging AWS Partner Funding programs to sell more projects and grow their AWS businesses. Based on past successes and feedback from AWS Partners, customers, and the AWS field, we have consolidated several migration funding programs into the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP). These changes will help fund small and large migrations to AWS across different workloads.

Embedded analytics is re-shaping how users consume data by providing insights in the key moments that matter. The new Embedded Analytics Partner Program (EAPP) will accelerate the embedded analytics journey for AWS customers thanks to a set of trusted AWS Partners who can help customers quickly understand and integrate Amazon QuickSight’s embedded analytics capabilities to create insightful, data-driven experiences for end users.
