Agentic AI headlines AWS re:Invent 2025 across Media and Entertainment

Agentic AI is rapidly reshaping workloads across industries and is taking center stage at Amazon Web Services (AWS) re:Invent conference this year. In media and entertainment (M&E), AI is accelerating workflows, unlocking new capabilities, and transforming how content is created, captured, and delivered. In advertising, AI is empowering companies and brands to engage audiences and monetize opportunities in new ways.

Event highlights include five keynotes, and interactive demos in the Expo Hall at the Venetian, where attendees can experience the latest AWS capabilities and see how industry innovators are breaking new ground with AI technologies Broadcast-tailored AI demos include agentic media operations, AI-powered live graphics, a media lake on AWS, content compliance with agentic AI, and more.

Giving attendees a firsthand look into the future of live production throughout the week, AWS will run Sports Forum Live, a live show created in conjunction with Tagboard. It will be filmed in a studio setup at the Sports Forum at Caesars Forum, where host Morgan Werth will interview some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. Show guests will include innovators from Formula 1, the National Football League (NFL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), PGA TOUR, TwelveLabs, and Prime Video, as well as AWS leaders. Running on Monday from 4PM – 6PM and from 12 PM – 4 PM on Tuesday through Thursday, the show will also include live coverage from Sports Forum activations and interactive elements such as trivia and polls. The live content will be sent directly to the cloud, where an AWS team based in the Expo Hall will access it. They’ll produce the live broadcast production entirely on AWS, including vision mixing, audio mixing, graphics, intercom, replay, and AI technology.

Monday features an agentic AI workshop that builds on last year’s video understanding workshop to show how to transform traditional orchestration steps into intelligent, agent-driven processes. You can also learn how agent-driven process can help companies drive better performance across multi-channel advertising campaigns. Experience the future of live sports broadcasting in a hands-on workshop to build a complete live production system working with real-world scenarios. Additionally, a breakout session details how to build marketing agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.

Tuesday’s robust slate includes sessions on how to leverage flexible AI agents to speed up video highlight creation, while integrating human feedback to refine results. It also features a chalk talk on agentic media lake workflows, a hands-on session that walks attendees through how to leverage agentic AI to orchestrate and manage complex media workflows and implement GenAI-powered data analytics at scale. Additionally, hear from Formula 1 how it’s revving up fan experiences with cloud and generative AI technology, and from AWS on how organizations can generate insights with partners without sharing data.

Wednesday’s schedule dives into how Amazon Ads is transforming the creative process with AI. Attendees can also discover how Prime Video transformed its change control strategy to support every day global live sports broadcasts while maintaining operational reliability. Also, journey through the NBCUniversal strategic migration of Peacock to fully managed Kubernetes.

In a hands-on building session, attendees can create a multi-agent solution for automating campaign audience definition and A/B testing to model customer what-if scenarios for commerce media, advertising, and marketing use cases. Other highlights include a session on how AWS can reduce costs and improve performance for scaled real-time advertising workloads, and a builder’s session that provides practical experience in building automated streaming analytics and a working dashboard.

Thursday features a hands-on workshop where attendees will learn to build real-time bidding workloads with AWS RTB Fabric. Attendees can also check out a workshop on enterprise-grade patterns for secure data partnerships that drive business value and generate unique insights about advertising campaigns, investment decisions, research and development, and more. Additionally, the day includes a session that dives into how iHeartMedia is advancing the future of self-healing infrastructure using Amazon Bedrock to reduce its incident response time by 60%.
