The Amazon Mobile Analytics Developer’s Getting Started Guide describes the process of integrating the SDK, configuring the Auto Export feature to export events data to Amazon S3, and using the REST API to submit events.
You can use the Amazon Mobile Analytics Console to view graphical reports for your app, download data in CSV format, or configure the Auto Export feature to export your raw events to your Amazon S3 bucket.

The Amazon Mobile Analytics Auto Export feature enables you to automatically and continuously archive your app’s raw event data in your Amazon S3 bucket and use ETL tools to download the data into your own data warehouse. To set up Auto Export to Amazon S3, go to the Mobile Analytics Console and click on the Settings icon. To learn more, check out our documentation.
The AWS Mobile SDK provides all of the functionality that is needed to integrate Amazon Mobile Analytics with your app. Support for iOS, Android, Fire OS, HTML5 apps, and Unity are provided. Go to the Developer’s Getting Started Guide for information on how to integrate the SDK into your app.
The Amazon Mobile Analytics REST API allows you to programmatically submit data from any iOS, Android, or Fire OS device.
Overview: Daily Active Users (DAU), Monthly Active Users (MAU), New Users, Sticky Factor, Total Daily Sessions, 1-Day Retention, Average Revenue Per Daily Active User (ARPDAU), Paying Daily Active Users, and Average Revenue Per Paid Daily Active User (ARPPDAU).
Active Users: Daily Active Users (DAU), Monthly Active Users (MAU), New Users, and Sticky Factor.
Sessions: Total Sessions (number of time your app was used on a particular day) and Average Number of Sessions Per Daily Active User (DAU).
Revenue: Paying Daily Active Users, Average Revenue Per Daily Active User (ARPDAU), and Average Revenue Per Paid Daily Active User (ARPPDAU), Paying Monthly Active Users, Average Revenue Per Monthly Active User (ARPMAU), and Average Revenue Per Paid Monthly Active User (ARPPMAU).
Retention: Daily retention (includes 1-day, 3-day, and 7-day retention) and weekly retention (includes 1-week, 2-week, and 3-week retention) for new users.
Custom Events: Custom events specific to your app that you define (such as when users tap a button, or each time a player finishes a level).
