Q: How can I get started using re:Post Private?

You can get started with re:Post Private by visiting the AWS Management Console and setting up re:Post Private for your organization. You need to have either the AWS Enterprise or Enterprise On-Ramp Support Plan. If you do not already have it, you can sign up on the AWS Support Plan Comparison page.

Q: How does re:Post Private work with other AWS services?

AWS re:Post Private is an organization-specific private instance of public re:Post running on AWS managed infrastructure. While it offers the same set of features as public re:Post, training content and technical content offered on re:Post Private are curated and tailored to organization-specific use cases, access to the community is managed by the organization, the discussion forum’s content including Q&A and articles is owned by the organization, and content access is restricted only to re:Post Private users. And re:Post Private is integrated with AWS Support Center, offering an option for customers to open a support case for unanswered questions.

Q: In which AWS Regions is re:Post Private available?

You can create re:Post Private from the US West (Oregon), US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland), Europe (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Canada (Central) Regions. Employees in your organization can access re:Post Private through a URL, which does not have any dependency on the Region.

Q: Which AWS employees get invited to re:Post Private?

Designated Technical Account Managers are automatically added to your organization's re:Post Private. And re:Post Private Administrators can request other AWS account team members, such as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Service Manager, and Customer Solution Manager, be added to re:Post Private by coordinating with their Account Manager.

With re:Post Private, all customer content is encrypted at rest and in transit. During the re:Post Private setup, customers can choose an AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) key that they manage or use an AWS managed key for encryption. And re:Post Private uses this encryption key to encrypt customer content.
