Developer Tools help developers create and manage applications built on AWS. Both Amazon and the AWS developer community have produced a large number of tools to assist developers optimize their productivity by making good use of AWS. You can browse through these tools here.

Access and manage Amazon's growing suite of infrastructure web services through a simple and intuitive, web-based user interface. The AWS Management Console provides convenient management of your compute, storage, and other cloud resources through an easy-to-use graphical user interface.
The AWS Toolkit for Eclipse is a plug-in for the Eclipse Java IDE that makes it easier to develop, deploy, and debug Java applications using Amazon Web Services. The AWS Toolkit for Eclipse includes the AWS Explorer which enables you to interact with many AWS services from inside the Eclipse IDE. The toolkit has integrated support for AWS Elastic Beanstalk which makes it easy for you to deploy your Java application to AWS. The toolkit includes the latest version of the AWS SDK for Java.
The AWS Toolkit for Microsoft Visual Studio is a plug-in for the Visual Studio IDE that makes it easier to develop, deploy, and deploy .NET applications that use Amazon Web Services. The AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio includes the AWS Explorer which enables you to interact with many AWS services from inside the Visual Studio IDE. The toolkit's support for CloudFormation makes it easy for you to deploy your .NET Framework application to AWS. The toolkit includes the latest version of the AWS SDK for .NET.

Simply unzip the zip file into a directory and use the individual scripts such as ses-send-email.pl and ses-get-stats.pl. The archive comes with a more extensive README file that explains how to use these tools in more detail. Having problems or questions? If you are installing and configuring your applications on EC2 dynamically at instance launch time, you will typically need to pull and install packages, deploy files and ensure services are started. AWS CloudFormation provides a set of helper scripts that, in conjunction with resource metadata defined in the template, can be used to install software and start services when you build your stack.

CloudFormer is a prototype tool that enables you to create AWS CloudFormation templates from the existing AWS resources in your account. You can provision and configure your application resources the way you want using your existing processes and tools. Once everything is setup and you have the resources provisioned, simply take a "snapshot" of the configuration to create a template, enabling you to launch copies of the application with just a few clicks through the AWS Management Console.

This is a actionscript 3.0 API library for Adobe Flex development community. Currently it only supports SQS service, but it can be extended if necessary. I made it to be structural similar to Amazon Java SDK library (All 11 SQS actions are supported)

Elasticity provides programmatic access to Amazon's Elastic Map Reduce service. The aim is to conveniently wrap the API operations in a manner that makes working with EMR job flows from Ruby more enjoyable. At the very least, using Elasticity allows you to easily experiment with the EMR API :)
