Dashboarding with Jaspersoft
What do you like best about the product?
The System is functionally rich with many choices to meet your needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Error messaging is not "user friendly" and heavily reliant on Jaspersoft Support to decipher

It provides us with a graphical platform to display application statistics and on demand reporting

What do you like best about the product?
Jasper works well and integrates with our existing applications providing the reporting solutions for our internal staff and clients
What do you dislike about the product?
The upgrades are not always easy with the busy road map we have an an organization. We also do some custom work and unless the engineers are constantly working on Jasper, updates can be a challenge at least in our organization and the other priorities we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly reporting type of features for few of our enterprise applications.

What do you like best about the product?
The team at TIBCO has offered great support in getting our product running. We have faced multiple roadblocks internally, including security constraints, infrastructure constraints, and a shortage of internal resources. TIBCO has been supportive through each of these issues and consistent in following up to offer assistance wherever possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues to report. The team has been outstanding to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jaspersoft is replacing a different report writing software that is no longer supported.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that after creating a Jasper Report it's very easy to publish it and share it with other people (because it's integrated with other software). Also, usually when i reach out to customer support my questions get resolved, and it's also nice that from time to time they check on me proactively to see if i'm having any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature of creating prompts was a bit easier to use in the previous version, but it might be just a matter of training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create reports that summarize our data and help us with quality control and assessment (i wasn't able to see all the options in the drop down menu in the previous question)

Jaspersoft es una herramienta muy interactiva y fácil de usar, es muy práctico para aquellas empresas que necesitan usuarios ilimitados sin incurrir en costos adicionales o tener cobros por número de usuarios existentes, Jaspersoft también permite tener tableros de control interactivos actualizados en tiempo real y poder embeber diferentes sitios web dentro de Jaspersoft.

Como tal no encuentro una desventaja de Jaspersoft, a menudo los fabricantes no tienen un buen soporte pero no es el caso de Jaspersoft, sus tiempos de respuesta son muy acertados y están dispuestos a ayudarte de todas las formas posibles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jaspersoft nos ayudó a brindar a nuestros clientes una solución eficiente y que es justa en costo vs beneficio, dado que el mayor problema de nuestros clientes es el límite del número de usuarios, pero este problema no lo tenemos con Jaspersoft.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its behaviour seems to be inconsistent on occasion, e.g. the internal application of styles.
Also, the cache sometimes causes issues on the Server by not reflecting the latest changes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Jasper is able to develop reports easily and able to generate or design as per customer requirements and it is Java based tool.

Able to generate Tabular and Graphical reports, So that customers can understand easily.
We used visualize to display japsersoft charts within our product

The charts that are displayed are user friendly and easy to navigate

We had some issues customising themes (on the fly) to make it fit more consistently with our product

Building client facing reports for our team using Jasper Studio and AdHoc views based on domains.
What do you like best about the product?
The customization it allows for, everything can be configured as wanted at "pixel level".
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very user friendly, the user is not able to apply minor changes to a report (such as adding a column) without a solid training .

Client facing reports ( we are a media agency running linear, streaming & digital for our clients) and internal data analytics (via the ad hoc views).
