What do you dislike about the product?
Pluralsight is a quite complex platform and it has bit steep lurning curve in the beginning for new teams. also I found the integration process with other some tools is a bit complex

Granular metrics and a lot of good filtering options

  • July 18, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We get to see our team's performance as well as individual performances. We are a small startup so it's important that we can see the impact each individual makes to our overall goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little buggy at times (slow loading, temporarily missing data) but these problems are transient and their support team is very responsive. For the price, it should be more reliably but I never really need the data that instant, so we live with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very small development team where each person is working on their own projects and workstreams. We can measure their performance and identify problems early so that we can course correct.

A must have for the new remote working managers

  • July 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Simply plugs into your code base and brings out actionable insights to improve delivery, quality and collaboration, all these three are must haves for any business
What do you dislike about the product?
Some newly introduced metrics such as Jitter and backlfow are useful but are poorly designed but I am sure the team will improve upon them, Also the UI should allow export of data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us read the cultural aspects of the team which was impossible to measure before, for example we can now tell where the bottlenecks are in our workflow and also if teams are just doing reviews as a compliance checkpoint or really deriving value from the review exercise , we could also learn if team members have a key person dependency and if team has a culture of sharing knowledge

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight provides analytics on many different parameters. You can view and compare trends using visualization which are easy to understand and could be very beneficial for improving your work process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some analytics are confusing or its difficult to derive out how can we use the data. It would be better if pluralsight can provide extensive explanations and real world example to use each analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We identify trends and standards like average time to merge PRs, or commits per day to compare working style of different teams internally and standard accross organization outside. And then we try to improve on that

Pluralsight has a wide variety of reports which are parameterized and have scales to judge the health of the work of a team or an organization. The visuals are also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some areas, the terms are a bit hard to understand, like JITTERS, but still, the information and data provided in support is handy for understanding the topic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight Flow is helping in getting the exact picture of how frequently the team is developing and putting in the commits. Also, if the quality of the code is maintained.

Pluralsight Flow Help me Track my Team Performance

  • July 12, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am thoroughly impressed with the Pluralsight Flow app! It has revolutionised the way I track and analyze my coding activities. The app's interface is clean, intuitive, and visually appealing, making it a pleasure to use. The ability to automatically capture my coding data and provide insightful metrics on my productivity and coding habits is incredibly valuable. I appreciate the detailed reports and visualisations that help me identify areas for improvement and optimize my workflow. The integration with popular code repositories and IDEs is seamless, allowing for effortless tracking and analysis. Pluralsight Flow has truly helped me become more efficient and effective in my coding journey, and I highly recommend it to developers who want to level up their skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the Pluralsight Flow app offers several useful features, there are a few aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the app lacks support for certain programming languages and IDEs, which can be limiting for developers who work with less common tools. It would be beneficial to expand the compatibility to ensure a broader user base can make the most of the app. Additionally, the pricing structure may deter some individual users from accessing the app's full potential. More affordable subscription options or a freemium model would be a welcome addition. Lastly, while the app provides comprehensive data and insights, the process of setting up and configuring the tracking can be a bit complex and time-consuming. Simplifying the onboarding process and providing clearer instructions would enhance the user experience. Despite these areas for improvement, Pluralsight Flow remains a valuable tool for developers looking to enhance their coding productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help me as a manager to do healthcheck for my team code performance, so i can do analyze what is best for my team.

Great for Team Eval

  • July 11, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight puts our Team metrics in easy to read charts. I use the daily activity insight multiple times per week to measure Sprint performance and help look for signals regarding performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do feel like the UI could be updated. I would also like the API to offer much more granular level data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides great insight to team performance and signalling for Team Leads to dig deep and determine if roadblocks are present.

Pluralsight Flow - A review on Insights to efficient workflow management

  • July 11, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Provides excellent visibility into the team's workflow efficiency. It helps in identifying bottlenecks and improving overall productivity. Its analytics engine provides concrete data and insights into the agile delivery process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of parameters that go into generating a workflow report is a tedious process. Very expensive in terms of pricing. Though it looks at the number of lines of code as a metric, the quality of code as a metric is not captured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight Flow helps me with efficient data tracking - get insights into team performance, identify and evaluate individual performance, and effectively improve customization across teams.

Helps gauge efficiency

  • July 11, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a manager, it helps me understand the insights around the health of the sprints and for better comparison. Identifying the anti-patterns and planning on an action item is simpler.
The contribution chart helps plan the work distribution efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few metrics, like PR resolution time, are not visually understandable, which can be improved.
Ther can be a report that showcases the comparison of trends from selected timeline. Currently we are doing this manually in excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping the team manage and track a few parameters like early checkin (through 'project timeline' graph), maintaining a healthy 'PR resolution', Identifying high bus factors with the 'total work breakdown' and identifying knowledge silos with the 'Review collaboration'/'Knowledge sharing'.
