Announced throughout the year, AWS Partner Awards recognize a wide range of born-in-the-cloud and traditional services and software partners whose business models have embraced specialization and collaboration.

This year’s Partner Experience at AWS re:Invent offers content and activities designed specifically for AWS Partners and prospective partners alike. Learn how to leverage AWS services to build solutions for customers, and explore AWS Partner Network (APN) programs that can help differentiate your business to reach new customers faster. There are both business and technical-focused breakout sessions, workshops, chalk talks, and the not-to-miss Partner Keynote on Wednesday, November 30.

AWS is excited to unveil the 2022 Partners of the Year from Canada. Announced during the AWS Toronto Partner Summit, the awards recognize AWS Partner Network (APN) members who have demonstrated outstanding results and innovation using AWS products and solutions. Their expertise allows AWS customers in a wide range of industries—from finance to sports, startups to the public sector—to transform their industries and solve the most difficult business challenges.

PCBL Limited has produced carbon black for over 60 years and established a presence in over 40 countries. As the company grew, it sought an opportunity to build operations that scale. However, its legacy, on-premises infrastructure was approaching end of life. PCBL Limited worked with IBM to support its move to SAP S/4HANA on AWS, and IBM helped identify processes to modernize and provided training and support to get both its data and employees comfortably settled in the new landscape.

Wipro moved Schneider Electric’s crucial on-premises SAP system onto AWS, completely re-architecting the system for the cloud, changing the operating system, upgrading databases, and migrating terabytes of data to AWS. The partner and customer both sought a goal larger than reducing the physical data center footprint: they aimed to improve digital supply chain operations and enhance the performance of Schneider Electric’s industrial automation business.

Within its vehicle data warehouse, global manufacturer Toyota North America can follow each vehicle’s origin story, from manufacturing plants to dealerships around the world. Using a next-generation data lake developed by Infosys Cobalt and built on AWS, Toyota North America can collect and analyze data from different manufacturing plants. Toyota North America also gathers supply chain data, such as where the car was manufactured and where it is shipping.
