As customers look for ways to optimize their cloud computing usage and performance, Amazon EC2 Spot Instances provide the ability to do more for less. Amazon EC2 Spot is a compute purchase option that allows customers to utilize spare Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) capacity and unlock up to 90% in savings from Amazon EC2 On-Demand.

AWS Partners have integrated EC2 Spot Instances as a part of their products to enable cost optimization for end customers when they run their workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This is why we’re excited to announce the launch of the Amazon EC2 Spot Ready specialization to help customers find AWS Partner software products that support Amazon EC2 Spot.

Amazon EC2 Spot Ready products are meticulously vetted by AWS Partner Solutions Architects to ensure they are integrating Spot best practices and have demonstrated proven customer success through use cases.

Customers can now browse Amazon EC2 Spot Ready products by category and select verified software products for their new workload deployments.

Amazon EC2 Spot Ready Partners provide customers the ability to have a cost-optimized, well-architected solution to enable significant savings for their workloads—allowing them to focus on their core offering.
