At Tableau Conference 2018, we announced a new AWS Quick Start: Tableau Server on AWS for Healthcare. This lets customers quickly deploy Tableau Server on AWS in a manner that is preconfigured with common security and compliance controls, such as encryption at-rest and in-transit, and support their compliance objectives out of the box. The Quick Start comes with a jointly authored security controls reference describing how different parts of the HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules apply to AWS and Tableau.

AWS Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory and Amazon RDS are now in the Citrix Ready Marketplace, and we’ve provided a deployment guide to help you launch Citrix on AWS. In cooperation with Citrix, we have also assembled an AWS Accelerator to help you plan and execute a successful trial migration while using your existing licenses. You can also use Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Service on Citrix Cloud to manage your AWS-based resources.

AWS supports Oracle databases and applications, offering businesses solutions for migrating, deploying, and managing their Oracle workloads on AWS. Customers can launch entire enterprise software stacks from Oracle on AWS, and they can build enterprise-grade Oracle applications using database and middleware software from Oracle. Flexible Payment Scheduler enhances Seller Private Offers by enabling software sellers to offer custom payment schedules to customers in AWS Marketplace. After negotiating the price and quantity with a customer, ISVs can now specify a custom schedule of payments, with up to 36 installments over three years. Flexible Payment Scheduler helps ISVs increase their sales velocity, sales volume, and transaction size by making it easier for their customers to purchase software.

Leading organizations around the world are using CloudHealth to understand what’s driving the cost of their Amazon ECS, Kubernetes, and Mesos clusters. CloudHealth Container Module enables users to customize what and how to report on container usage and costs. Starting at the cluster level, it’s useful to compare the amount of resources allocated to container tasks to the available capacity of the cluster. In this post, we discuss how CloudHealth’s support for Amazon ECS helps you understand your AWS resource usage and cost.

Over the last two years, AWS has launched SaaS Subscriptions and SaaS Contracts for AWS Marketplace, two procurement capabilities that enable you to offer SaaS solutions directly to AWS Customers. We’re excited to announce an enhancement to SaaS Contracts that allows your customers to pay-as-they-go if they need additional services above the original contract. Customers can now combine the discounts from committed usage and the flexibility of pay-as-you-go pricing.
