RISCPoint, an AWS Partner, worked with Own Company (previously OwnBackup) to achieve a FedRAMP Moderate authorization for the Own Government Cloud, which is built on AWS GovCloud (US). Collaborating closely with the AWS Global Security & Compliance Acceleration Program partner RISCPoint, Own achieved an Authority to Operate (ATO) FedRAMP certification in under 12 months and can now offer data protection products to all U.S. federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as government contractors in specific use cases.

London-headquartered Fintech Banfico used Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) to accelerate its ability to create and deploy new applications by as much as 40 percent. Working with AWS Partner Red Hat, the company was able to quickly launch two innovative products, IBAN Name Check and Confirmation of Payee services, to its banking customers. In addition, Banfico can easily scale its systems when new customers are onboarded or when it experiences rapid growth in existing account holders using the services.

Step 2: Enroll in AWS Partner Path(s)
Upon joining the APN, enroll in the Path(s) based on your customer offerings:
- For organizations that develop software that runs on or is integrated with AWS, enroll in the Software Path and meet the minimum validation criteria i.e. successfully complete the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR). Learn more about AWS FTR »
- For organizations that leverage AWS to deliver consulting, professional, managed, and resale services, enroll in the Services Path and meet the minimum validation criteria i.e. achieve AWS Partner Select Tier. Learn more about AWS Partner Tier requirements »

Step 3: Meet program requirements
- AWS Partners must meet the requirements listed in the Global Security & Compliance Acceleration Program checklist to apply for the program.

Step 4: Apply
- Upon meeting the program requirements, you can apply to the Global Security & Compliance Acceleration Program within Partner Central.
- Once approved to join the program, you will be assigned a Security Partner strategist to seek guidance on your specific business needs. You can immediately take advantage of AWS Partner benefits, including your AWS Partner badge with Global Security & Compliance Acceleration designation, funding, marketing resources, and more.
