Educators who want to use AWS in courses should apply to the AWS Educate program. The AWS Educate application takes a few minutes to complete and responses are generally communicated within three business days.

I am a teacher or professor who has previously applied for AWS Promotional Credit for my courses under the AWS in Education Grants Educators tab. Where should I now apply for AWS Promotional Credit?
Please apply to the AWS Educate program to get credit for your courses. Teaching grants have now been retired in favor of the AWS Educate program.

I am a student interested in supporting coursework for a class I am enrolled in. Should I apply for AWS Cloud Credit for Research program?
Students who want to use AWS in courses and coursework can apply to the AWS Educate program. AWS Cloud Credit for Research are only applicable for the purpose of conducting research and are only available for graduate, post-graduate, and PhD students.

I am teaching a workshop or an advanced research course at an institution that is not supported by AWS Educate. Are there any grants for which I can apply?
The AWS Cloud Credits for Research program accepts applications for AWS Promotional Credit to support workshops and courses that are not eligible for AWS Educate (e.g. a summer workshop for postdoctoral scholars and faculty). We prioritize support for workshops in which participants are working with AWS tools directly.

I am a graduate student working on a research project on AWS. Am I eligible for AWS Cloud Credit for Research?
Yes, AWS Cloud Credit for Research can be used to support graduate student research projects that fall outside of course requirements.
