Resolve security signals faster with Arctic Wolf’s Aurora Agentic SOC

Security teams don’t have an alert problem, they have a capacity problem. If your security tools generate more alerts than your team can investigate, you’re not alone. Most organizations have no shortage of detection; what they lack is the continuous capacity to act on it before a finding requires escalation. This post shows how Arctic Wolf in AWS Marketplace eliminates that barrier, pairing agentic AI with a human concierge team to turn your Amazon Web Services (AWS) findings into decisions and outcomes.

The Arctic Wolf Security Operations Cloud pairs an AI-powered detection platform with their Concierge Security experts. These experts work closely with you, understand your environment, and respond on your behalf. Depending on your size, Arctic Wolf acts as your security team or as an extension of it. With the recent launch of the Aurora Agentic Security Operations Center (SOC), the Arctic Wolf Aurora Superintelligence platform combines AI and human intelligence to detect and respond to security threats.

In this post, you’ll learn how Arctic Wolf ingests security telemetry using an event-driven architecture built on AWS.

Why subscribe to Arctic Wolf in AWS Marketplace

Because Arctic Wolf is available in AWS Marketplace, teams can subscribe through their AWS accounts. Using your existing AWS agreements reduces contracting overhead, streamlines procurement, and consolidates billing, which means you can begin tackling security threats quickly.

Solution overview

AWS provides a suite of detection and monitoring tools designed to help strengthen security posture. Amazon GuardDuty delivers continuous monitoring for potential threats across your AWS environment. AWS CloudTrail logs API calls for audit and forensic analysis. AWS Security Hub aggregates security findings from AWS services Amazon Inspector, Amazon Macie, and AWS Config, along with third-party tools, into the AWS Security Finding Format (ASFF).

But organizations need action, not observations. Amazon GuardDuty alerts show unusual API activity but don’t tell you whether it’s an unexpected event, misconfiguration, or legitimate testing. Turning findings into decisions requires correlating your AWS telemetry with what’s actually happening. Many security teams are augmenting their capabilities with managed services to provide continuous operational coverage as the pace of security operations continues to increase.

Agentic AI is helping organizations respond to emerging security issues more efficiently. AI agents now triage alerts, run investigations, and coordinate response across tools, work that used to consume analyst hours around the clock. The same alert can mean completely different things in different environments. A brute-force authentication pattern might be a penetration test in one account and a credential-stuffing event in another. Agents can handle events at scale, and knowing when to stop and escalate to a human who understands your business context is what turns triage into the right outcome. According to ISC2’s 2025 AI Pulse Survey, an estimated 30% of cybersecurity teams have integrated AI security tools into their operations. Arctic Wolf combines AI-led and human-led security operations.

How Arctic Wolf fits in

Arctic Wolf monitors over 10,000 customers globally using the Aurora platform. The Aurora platform processes more than 10 trillion security events every week across its global customer base, drawing on more than 14 years of curated security operations data. Arctic Wolf builds on AWS, and in October 2025, the two companies signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement to scale the platform globally. Arctic Wolf deploys on the AWS Global Infrastructure to replicate and scale services to new customers where they are, meeting the challenges of modern security operations without having to scale backend teams to the same degree.

At the core of Aurora is the Swarm of Experts agentic framework. These are specialized AI agents that collaborate to triage, investigate, and respond to threats, with human analysts providing validation and escalation. This ready-to-use approach means customers get agentic AI capabilities without building their own AI teams or tooling while still offering a personalized approach to your company’s security considerations.

How Arctic Wolf ingests your AWS findings

Arctic Wolf’s AWS integration uses an event-driven pipeline documented on the AWS Partner Network Blog. The key design choice is that there is no polling. Findings flow to Arctic Wolf’s SOC as they happen.

Arctic Wolf provides AWS CloudFormation templates that deploy this entire pipeline in your account in minutes.

Security in the cloud follows the AWS Shared Responsibility Model, where AWS is responsible for the security of the underlying infrastructure and you’re responsible for securing what you build on it. The pipeline in this post runs in your account, and Arctic Wolf’s cross-account IAM authorization and SOC operations represents how they secure their side of that shared model.

Beyond AWS Security Hub

The AWS Security Hub event-driven pipeline integrates with additional AWS services. Arctic Wolf also integrates with:

  • AWS CloudTrail – Monitors all API calls to detect unauthorized access, privilege escalation, and suspicious admin actions.
  • Amazon GuardDuty – Forwards threat detection findings directly. Supports single-account deployments, multi-account with AWS Organizations, and multi-account with AWS Control Tower.
  • AWS WAF – Forwards web application logs for correlation.

According to Arctic Wolf, they provide over 120 alerting rules across these integrations and offer a high-touch security approach for your product infrastructure, enterprise infrastructure, and your endpoints all in a single provider.

All these integrations are available to customers who subscribe to Arctic Wolf through AWS Marketplace, with no additional procurement complexity.

What the Concierge model means in practice

When CloudHesive, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, adopted Arctic Wolf, they got a platform as well as named team members. Their expert Concierge Security Team verified that AWS CloudTrail, Amazon GuardDuty, and AWS Security Hub findings were flowing correctly, tuned detection rules for their environment, and delivered quarterly security posture reviews.

According to CloudHesive, the results included 50% fewer alerts requiring triage, 99% faster investigation-to-remediation, and CloudHesive reported 10 times cost savings compared to their estimated cost of building an in-house SOC. Arctic Wolf holds a 4.9 out of 5.0 rating on Gartner Peer Insights with 99% willingness to recommend.

With the Aurora Agentic SOC, these outcomes are accelerating. AI agents now handle initial triage and investigation, the repetitive work that previously consumed analyst time. AI also automates detection creation, reducing the time from zero-day discovery to active detection. Arctic Wolf’s Human Concierge team focuses on complex decisions and customer communication.

Prerequisites for connecting Arctic Wolf

Before connecting Arctic Wolf, enable AWS Security Hub and Amazon GuardDuty in your account. You’ll also need an active Arctic Wolf subscription in AWS Marketplace.

Get started

Arctic Wolf’s security operations portfolio includes Managed Detection and Response, Managed Risk, Security Awareness, Aurora Endpoint Security, and Incident Response. Arctic Wolf solutions are available in AWS Marketplace.

Take these next steps:

Cost

Two kinds of cost apply. First, the integration pipeline runs in your account using pay-as-you-go AWS services, so you pay AWS for the resources the CloudFormation stack creates and the findings they process and store. For an estimate based on your finding volume, use the AWS Pricing Calculator. Second, Arctic Wolf is a subscription you procure in AWS Marketplace. Because Arctic Wolf sells through negotiated private offers, pricing and contract terms are set with Arctic Wolf and appear as a line item on your consolidated AWS bill; cancellation and renewal follow the terms of your agreement. For more information, see Private offers in AWS Marketplace in the AWS Marketplace Buyer Guide.

Cleanup

The integration runs in your account as one or more AWS CloudFormation stacks that Arctic Wolf provides. To remove, delete those stacks from the AWS CloudFormation console; an S3 bucket that still contains objects must be emptied before CloudFormation can remove it. Because Arctic Wolf’s Concierge Security Team helps operate the integration, notify your team before you remove it. Deleting the stacks stops findings from flowing to Arctic Wolf but does not cancel your AWS Marketplace subscription.

Conclusion

AWS provides detection and monitoring tools that help strengthen your security posture. Arctic Wolf provides the people, AI agents, and platform to extend your operational capacity for acting on security findings. The event-driven integration with AWS Security Hub, Amazon EventBridge, Amazon Data Firehose, and AWS Lambda routes findings to the Aurora Agentic SOC in real time, where AI-powered triage and expert analysts work together to turn alerts into outcomes.
