AWS Organizations Enhancements
Now, you can use the AWS Organizations console to remove accounts from your organization more easily. Using the console, you can remove created accounts from an organization without assistance from AWS Support.
The accounts you remove can become standalone accounts and operate independently or be invited to join another organization. For example, if you had consultants who completed a contract with your company while part of your organization, you could remove their AWS accounts from your organization and make their accounts standalone.
Organizations is available in all AWS Regions except the China (Beijing) and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
