AWS Glue is now available in Asia Pacific (Sydney) and EU (Frankfurt) AWS regions
You can now use AWS Glue in two additional AWS regions, Asia Pacific (Sydney) and EU (Frankfurt).
AWS Glue automates much of the effort to build, maintain, and run extract, transform, and load (ETL) jobs. Glue crawls your data sources, identifies data formats, and suggests schemas and transformations. Glue automatically generates the code to execute your data transformations and loading processes. Glue is serverless, so there is no infrastructure to provision or manage. Glue runs your ETL jobs on a fully managed Apache Spark environment.
With this release, customers can now use AWS Glue in the AWS Regions US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), EU (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and Asia Pacific (Sydney). To learn more, visit AWS Glue.
