Announcing Programmatic Access to AWS Pricing Information in China via the AWS Price List API
The AWS Price List API provides you with the ability to query for the current and historical prices of AWS services, as well as receive alerts via Amazon SNS when pricing changes are detected.
Starting today, customers in China will be able to access AWS service pricing information programmatically via the Price List API. Using the Price List API, you can query for the prices of AWS services and receive your results in JSON or CSV format for programmatic consumption. From there, you can perform cost reconciliation or build cost reporting and analysis solutions that are tailored to your business. You can also subscribe to an SNS topic to receive notifications when pricing changes are detected (e.g., a new service is introduced or AWS cuts prices).
