Starting today, Amazon EC2 T3 instances are available in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) AWS Region.
Amazon EC2 T3 instances are the next generation burstable general-purpose instance type that provide a baseline level of CPU performance with the ability to burst CPU usage at any time for as long as required. Based on high frequency Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and the AWS Nitro System, T3 instances are designed for applications with moderate CPU usage that experience temporary spikes in use.
T3 instances offer a balance of compute, memory, and network resources for a broad spectrum of general purpose workloads including micro-services, low-latency interactive applications, small and medium databases, virtual desktops, development environments, code repositories, and business-critical applications.
With this expansion Amazon EC2 T3 instances are available in 18 regions worldwide including the US East (N. Virginia and Ohio), US West (N. California and Oregon), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris, and Stockholm), South America (São Paulo), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo), and AWS GovCloud (US-East and US-West) AWS regions.
