Amazon Interactive Video Service (Amazon IVS) now gives you the ability to send live video from your mobile applications to an Amazon IVS channel as an input for a live stream using the Amazon IVS mobile broadcast SDK for Android and iOS.
The Amazon IVS mobile broadcast SDK can integrate into new and existing mobile applications. It supports basic camera and screen broadcasts, and custom video and audio sources. Optimized for low latency live streams with Amazon IVS, the mobile broadcast SDK also handles inconsistent bandwidth situations by automatically adjusting video bitrates.
Using the Amazon IVS mobile broadcast SDK incurs no additional charges beyond standard Amazon IVS usage costs. To get started, see our documentation pages.
Amazon IVS is a managed, live-streaming solution that is quick and easy to set up and ideal for creating interactive video experiences. Send your live streams to Amazon IVS using the mobile broadcast SDK or standard streaming software like Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). Amazon IVS does everything you need to make low-latency live video available to any viewer around the world, letting you focus on building interactive experiences alongside the live video.
The Amazon IVS console and APIs for control and creation of video stream resources are available in the US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Ireland) regions. Video ingest and delivery are available around the world over a managed network of infrastructure optimized for live video.
