Amazon Detective has increased the daily quota limits for behavior graph data volumes. With the increased limits, Detective can now ingest up to 10 TB per day to help you conduct more comprehensive security investigations and provide broader summaries and visualizations of behaviors in your AWS accounts.
Detective makes it easy to analyze, investigate, and quickly identify the root cause of potential security issues or suspicious activity. Detective starts collecting data as soon as you enable it and provides summaries and visualizations on data ingested from Amazon GuardDuty findings, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) flow logs, AWS CloudTrail logs, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) audit logs. Starting today Detective has increased the quota limits allowing you to send up to 10 TB per day for all combined data sources.
You don’t have to do anything to take advantages of these new quotas. Detective will automatically scale to these new limits. You can monitor volume and cost of data ingested for each account in the Detective console. To learn more, you can read about Detective quotas in the Amazon Detective User Guide.
The new increased quotas are available today for all existing and new Detective customers and in all AWS Regions where Detective is available, including the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. You can also start your 30-day free trial of Detective with just a few clicks in the AWS Management console. To learn more, visit the Amazon Detective product page.
