AWS Mainframe Modernization with AWS Blu Age Runtime on Amazon EC2 is now available in five additional AWS Regions and features new capabilities for build, runtime logging, and billing alerts.
The regional expansion includes availability in Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Paris), and South America (Sao Paulo), featuring automation that allows faster deployment to new regions. The AWS Blu Age Runtime packaged for Amazon EC2 is now generally available in 10 AWS Regions US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Asia Pacific (Sydney, Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, Paris), and South America (São Paulo).
The new capability for runtime versions is enabled for customers and partners having ongoing modernization projects with daily incremental versions of the Blu Age Runtime on EC2. Using the incremental versions for their test and development environments, customer and partners can leverage the latest runtime improvements and execute modernization projects without delays and more autonomously.
Also, customers are now able to push AWS Blu Age Runtime on EC2 logs to Amazon CloudWatch in their own accounts to facilitate troubleshooting and increase availability of the logs.
Finally, new CDK capabilities released for AWS Blu Age Runtime on EC2 provisioning facilitate the set-up of Amazon CloudWatch alerts to inform customers proactively about potential service configuration issues.
