Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) Query now supports the Bitcoin Testnet to develop and test applications without risking real funds, and Asset APIs for developers to get on-chain properties of smart contracts.
Developers can use AMB Query as a part of their application prototyping on Bitcoin Testnet before their applications are ready for production to run on the Bitcoin Mainnet. Additionally, the new Asset APIs of AMB Query enable developers to retrieve data pertaining to digital asset smart contracts on Ethereum. For example, the ListAssetContracts API can be used to list ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 smart contracts, and the GetAssetContract API can be used to get the properties of a smart contract such as the contract type and deployer address.
AMB Query delivers standardized and formatted blockchain data from multiple blockchains, starting with Bitcoin and Ethereum. AMB is a fully managed service that reduces the overhead required to access and read data from blockchain networks. Developers can leverage simple APIs from AMB to build centralized or distributed applications for digital assets, and analyze blockchain data and activities.
