AWS Marketplace now provides new APIs for sellers, enabling independent software vendors (ISVs) and Channel Partners to build workflow integrations with AWS Marketplace for their AMI, SaaS, and Container products. With Catalog API, sellers can manage (create, update, and read) product listings, offers, and resale authorizations. With Agreements API, sellers can search and read agreements. Sellers can use the APIs to automate complex, high-volume, and business-critical transactions in AWS Marketplace, helping them save time and costs.

Sellers who work with cloud marketplaces are often required to regularly switch between marketplace interfaces and their internal tools during the lifecycle of a deal. This adds time and costs to processes, and can be error-prone. This is especially cumbersome during high-demand periods like quarter or year end when sellers need to drive offer creation, closure of deals, and reconciliation of booked revenue.

With these APIs, AWS Marketplace meets sellers where they are; in their internal tools. Using APIs, sellers can build AWS Marketplace product, offer, resale authorization, and agreements workflows into their existing applications and workflows. Additionally, they can use the APIs and notifications to reconcile AWS Marketplace data with internal dashboards to get real-time visibility and control of their business on AWS Marketplace.
