AWS Data Transfer Terminal pricing
Pricing overview
You will be charged per port hour for each port used during your reservation. Port hour charges vary based on the location of the AWS Data Transfer Terminal and the location of your AWS endpoint.
Pricing
Pricing for AWS Data Transfer Terminal is based on three dimensions:
Port hours
Port hours represent the duration for which ports are reserved at the AWS Data Transfer Terminal. Each reservation is subject to a minimum charge of one port hour, with billing calculated based on the total number of hours reserved. There are no additional fees based on the volume of data transferred through the terminal.
Number of ports used
Each Data Transfer Terminal includes at least two 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100 GbE) ports. Charges are based on the number of ports you actively use during your reservation. For example, using two 100 GbE ports for one hour will incur charges for 2 port hours.
Data Transfer Terminal and AWS endpoint locations
Port hour rates are based on the geographic location of both the Data Transfer Terminal and the AWS endpoint. In general, when the Data Transfer Terminal and AWS endpoint are located on the same continent, you will be charged a lower port hour rate. When they are located on different continents, a higher port hour rate will apply.
