Minoru Onda is a Technology Evangelist at KDDI Agile Development Center Corporation (KAG). While engaging in software development, he also shares the knowledge gained from his work outside his company, spreading the excitement of technology to many people.
He joined the AWS User Group Japan (JAWS-UG) in 2021 and now leads the operations of three communities: the Tokyo chapter, the SRE chapter, and NW-JAWS. In 2023, he delivered over 30 technical talks and authored more than 70 blog posts, while creating numerous opportunities for his fellow members to share their knowledge and experiences. In recognition of his contributions, he was selected as an AWS Samurai 2023.
Recently, he has been focusing on utilizing Generative AI on AWS, sharing case studies from his company, explaining new features, and creating hands-on content. In 2024, he led the co-authoring of an introductory technical book on Amazon Bedrock with community members, which was published in Japan and became a best seller.
