Parthasarathi (Partha) is a Cloud Solution Architect at 8K Miles, helping large Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and life science customers build highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure for their application deployments in the AWS Cloud.
Before joining 8K Miles, he worked at AstraZeneca and Logitech as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer focused on cloud architecture, migration, and network security. As a cloud enthusiast who has been an AWS user since 2013, he holds the AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional & Certified Security Specialty certifications. Currently he is focusing on DevOps, serverless, containers, and Kubernetes on AWS.
Partha founded the AWS User Group Chennai in 2018. Currently it has 3000+ active members, and continues to interest and attract many in the cloud space. He regularly organizes AWS User Group meetups as well as the first-ever AWS Community Day Chennai 2019, which was a grand success, with 450+ participants. He also started the AWS User Group India Facebook page for organizing live webinars, which has attracted 1100+ followers within a span of two months’ time.
Partha regularly speaks at AWS User Group meetups, delivers guest lectures, and conducts workshops on AWS Cloud computing for students at engineering colleges and universities in Chennai.
