Sheng Wu is a founding engineer at Tetrate, leading the observability team for service mesh and hybrid cloud. He serves on the world's biggest open source foundation, The Apache Software Foundation, as a board director and mentor of the incubator. He created and leads Apache SkyWalking, an open source Application Performance Management (APM) project used worldwide. SkyWalking is currently a top-level project in the Apache Software Foundation.
He is a regular speaker at conferences such as the AWS Summit, AWS Dev Day, QCon, KubeCon, and ApacheCon, typically sharing his expertise in observability for container-based and cloud-native environments. He is also known for contributing and organizing complex technical solutions available in open source software, which helps developers around the world.
His articles and blogs on containers, cloud-native, and observability appear in media including The New Stack and the Apache SkyWalking Official Blog. He is also co-author of the books SkyWalking In Action and Future Architecture: From MicroService to Cloud-Native.
