Steve Bjorg was the Founder and Chief Technical Officer at MindTouch (acquired by NICE CXone in 2021), a San Diego-based enterprise software company that specializes in customer self-service software. He is a seasoned technologist and serial entrepreneur who is passionate about helping others. Prior to founding MindTouch, Steve worked in Advanced Strategies and the Developer Division at Microsoft, focusing on distributed computing.
Steve is a frequent contributor to open-source projects and is passionate about serverless software. He is the author of LambdaSharp - a tool for optimizing the developer experience when building Serverless .NET applications on AWS. Prior projects include DReAM, a service-oriented distributed architecture for .NET microservices and DekiWki, a popular enterprise wiki that was among the top 5 projects on SourceForge for many years.
Steve and his team host a monthly serverless hacking challenge in San Diego to learn and master new AWS services and features. The event is open to all levels, pairing beginners and experienced members together who share a love of building cloud software.
