Speaker: Alison Kay,  VP & Managing Director UK and Ireland, AWS

For years, technology leaders have been working to position IT as a strategic partner to the business, not just a cost centre. That journey hasn't changed, but the landscape around it has shifted dramatically. The arrival of generative and agentic AI has compressed timelines, raised the stakes on data readiness, and introduced entirely new questions around governance, talent, and investment that boards and executive teams are asking right now. In this panel discussion, Tanuja Randery and technology executives from across industries share how they are navigating this accelerated environment, balancing long-standing transformation priorities with the urgency and opportunity that AI now brings. Expect candid perspectives on what's working, what's proving harder than expected, and how leaders are building the organisational muscle to keep pace.

Hosted by Tanuja Randery CBE, VP & Managing Director EMEA, AWS

Organizations are having to transform in ways they never have before. This session presents a powerful approach to transformation, trading the risk of massive overhauls for a culture of continuous advancement. Learn to bring laser-like clarity to your goals, foster true ownership among your teams, and cultivate an insatiable curiosity for improvement. Weaving together the candid stories and hard-won truths of diverse leaders – from extreme mountaineers to world-class poker players and Amazon's own Day 1 culture – this session offers a fresh perspective on freeing your organization to move at the speed of its best ideas.

Speakers: Phil Le-Brun, AWS Executive in Residence & Jana Werner, AWS Executive in Residence

As AI agents transform the workplace, organizations must adapt their structures and methodologies to harness new opportunities. The probabilistic nature of AI requires continuous iteration and intelligent oversight, creating new ways of working across business functions. To thrive, organizations must combine clear capability assessment with agile planning while leveraging their unique domain expertise and data assets. This keynote explores how leadership is evolving to meet these needs, covering new organizational models and roles that coordinate human-AI hybrid teams. Leaders will learn strategies for balancing rapid decision-making with strategic oversight, finding the optimal mix of centralized guidance and decentralized innovation.

Speaker: Jonathan Allen, AWS Executive in Residence

    Sessions to resume at 3:25

Most organisations are no longer asking whether to invest in AI — they're wrestling with how to turn promising experiments into production systems that deliver sustained business value. With industry data showing that fewer than half of generative AI projects reach production, the gap between proof-of-concept excitement and enterprise-scale impact remains one of the defining leadership challenges of this moment. Join Francessca Vasquez and Phil Le-Brun as they discuss hard-won lessons on what it actually takes to cross that divide — from building the data foundations and governance frameworks that make AI enterprise-ready, to creating the leadership conviction and organisational adoption that keep AI solutions delivering value long after deployment.

    Speakers: TBC

Guest Speaker: Dhiraj Mukahjee, Entrepreneur & tech pioneer, Co-Founder of Shazam
