TymeBank, the first bank in South Africa to receive a full banking license in almost 20 years, has grown by 100,000 customers a month since launch. The bank migrated 85 percent of its infrastructure to AWS and runs its mission-critical payments service in a containerized architecture built on Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS.
