Amazon CloudSearch is a fully-managed service that makes it easy to set up, manage, and scale a search solution for your website or application. Customers from various industries including media and publishing, social networking, healthcare, eCommerce, legal, and the public sector use Amazon CloudSearch to build cutting edge content discovery systems.

Traditional search solutions require significant time and resources to maintain and operate. Search query traffic is often hard to predict making it difficult to size and configure search platforms. In addition to the complexity involved, administration of a search system is also expensive. Amazon CloudSearch not only significantly lowers the cost of a search solution, but it also makes it easy to set up a search system that can change with the needs of the business.
