Amazon Kinesis Firehose, the easiest way to load streaming data into AWS, now supports Amazon Elasticsearch Service as a data delivery destination. You can now use Amazon Kinesis Firehose to stream data to your Amazon Elasticsearch domains continuously and in near real time. Amazon Kinesis Firehose automatically scales to match the throughput of your data and handles all the underlying stream management. For more information, see the Amazon Kinesis Firehose website and developer guide.

Amazon Kinesis Firehose can now log data delivery errors to your Amazon CloudWatch Log group, enabling you to get more information for monitoring and troubleshooting data delivery failures. In addition, Kinesis Firehose console now displays the Amazon Redshift COPY command that Amazon Kinesis Firehose generates for loading data into Amazon Redshift. You can use the COPY command for test and data backfill purposes. For more information, see Monitoring with Amazon CloudWatch Logs in the Amazon Kinesis Firehose developer guide.
