Amazon Inspector is Now Available in the EU (Frankfurt) Region

Amazon Inspector, an on-demand security assessment service for AWS customers, is now available in the EU (Frankfurt) region.  

Amazon Inspector assessments check for security of the operating systems and applications deployed in Amazon EC2 environments. Amazon Inspector enables our customers to assess their environments for vulnerabilities or deviations from security best practices in minutes, any time they need. Customers can use various rules packages to evaluate their configurations against thousands of known exploits, and receive detailed security findings with recommendations to address discovered issues. 

With this launch, Amazon Inspector is now available in the following nine regions: US East (Northern Virginia), US West (Northern California), US West (Oregon), EU (Frankfurt), EU (Ireland), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo).
