AWS CloudFormation now offers FIPS 140-2 validated API endpoints in US regions, making it easier for customers to use the service for regulated workloads. These endpoints terminate TLS sessions using a FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic software module. Support for FIPS 140-2 validated endpoints is available today in US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (N. California), and US West (Oregon). See the Regions and Endpoints page for the endpoint URL details.
