You can now easily create new training jobs based on existing ones through the Amazon SageMaker console. Cloned jobs use the same configuration such as the selected algorithm, the IAM role, and the input mode to save time when setting up multiple jobs.
Running multiple identical training jobs with different data sets is quite common, and it can be tedious and time-consuming to setup each job individually. This feature makes it easy to run a series of training jobs without re-entering the same configuration details for every job. Cloning an existing training job through the console is easy and can be done either through the Training menu or the Training job detail page. The detailed steps can be found on the blog post here.
Cloning a training job through the Amazon SageMaker console is now available in the US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo) AWS regions. For more information on Amazon SageMaker, visit the product page.
