AWS Now Accepts Direct Debit ACH Payments

Posted on: Aug 7, 2018

Starting today, you can pay your AWS invoices with any US ACH enabled bank account. Adding a bank account is easy. Simply go to the Payment Methods page on the AWS Billing Console and provide your bank account number, routing number, billing address, and your driver’s license number (for personal accounts) or tax identification number (for business accounts).

When a new invoice is created, AWS will send you an email notification confirming the debit date and the amount that will be debited from your bank account, along with a copy of the invoice. For monthly invoices, we will debit your bank account at least 10 days after sending the email or on the due date, whichever is later. When you purchase subscriptions, we will debit your bank account immediately or on the due date.

For more information on how to add a bank account, see the Managing Your ACH Direct Debit Payment Methods in the AWS Billing and Cost Management user guide.
