AWS Marketplace now supports Paid Container Software on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

Posted on: Sep 24, 2019

AWS Marketplace, a curated digital catalog with over 230,000 active customers, has announced paid container software for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), adding to the selection of existing software for EKS, Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), and Fargate. You can run paid container software from AWS Marketplace on EKS clusters running version 1.1.3 or later.

Your software usage for your paid subscription is based on the number of Kubernetes pods running the software and the amount of time the software is running, which is measured down to the second for accuracy. You launch software using your AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) credentials and you can also pay for the charges through your existing AWS bill.

At launch, TIBCO, Solodev, Intuz, and Cognosys are offering paid products on EKS, and more are being added regularly. To get started, visit here to see all container software in AWS Marketplace.
