AWS Elastic Beanstalk adds support for Windows Server 2019 and .NET Core 3.1

Posted on: Jan 23, 2020

AWS Elastic Beanstalk now supports Windows Server 2019, Windows Server Core 2019, and .NET Core 3.1.

This support allows you to run your .NET applications on the latest versions of Windows Server, .NET, and .NET Core, and also benefit from a fully managed Elastic Beanstalk environment that automatically provides capacity provisioning, load balancing, auto-scaling, application health monitoring, and the application of patches and updates to the underlying platform. You can deploy your applications to Elastic Beanstalk using AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio, AWS Management Console, APIs, SDKs, the AWS CLI, and the Elastic Beanstalk CLI. Or, you can migrate your ASP.NET website to Elastic Beanstalk automatically using the Windows Web Application Migration Assistant.
