Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace accelerates software procurement with standardized license terms

AWS Marketplace is a curated digital catalog that simplifies software discovery, procurement, and provisioning and helps AWS customers maintain transparency and governance, control costs, and innovate faster. AWS Marketplace now offers two standardized license agreement options, Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace and Enterprise Contract for AWS Marketplace, allowing customers to alleviate lengthy negotiations, decrease time to contract, and build at the speed of cloud.

Today, AWS Marketplace launched Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace, expanding standardization to enable *all* customers to access standard license terms and simplify software procurement. Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace is built for customers of all sizes, from start-up to enterprise, and offers well-balanced license terms for public product listings found in AWS Marketplace. Customers can review the Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace terms, then leverage the terms across eligible products, eliminating the need to negotiate contracts for every purchase. Enterprise Contract for AWS Marketplace was launched in 2018 and designed for customers that require enterprise-class license terms. Qualified enterprise customers can access Enterprise Contract for AWS Marketplace by enrollment. Enrolled enterprises are able to use both Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace and Enterprise Contract for AWS Marketplace. Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace and Enterprise Contract for AWS Marketplace are amendable to support custom transaction requirements through Seller Private Offers.
