You can now run .NET Core applications on AWS Elastic Beanstalk using the new .NET Core Elastic Beanstalk platform built on top of Amazon Linux 2 Operating System. The .NET Core on Amazon Linux 2 platform version comes with nginx as a reverse proxy server and supports .NET Core 3.1 and .NET Core 2.1 frameworks. See Release Notes for additional details. Learn more about using the .NET Core on Linux platform from this blog post.
To get started, create a new AWS Elastic Beanstalk environment running on .NET Core on Linux platform using the Elastic Beanstalk console, the EB CLI, the Elastic Beanstalk API, or the AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio where you can select the .NET Core on Amazon Linux 2 environment option from the deployment wizard in Visual Studio. For more information about .NET Core on Linux platforms, see the Elastic Beanstalk developer guide.
