AWS Config launched 28 new managed rules today across multiple AWS Regions. Managed Config rules are predefined rules that can help you evaluate whether your AWS resource configurations comply with common best practices.

The new rules verify security and operational best practices for services such as Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Relational Database Service, Amazon EC2, AWS Identity and Access Management, Amazon Redshift, AWS Web Application Firewall and Elastic Load Balancing.
