AWS Data Exchange now supports adding data sets to existing products

Posted on: Aug 3, 2020

AWS Data Exchange now enables data providers to publish additional data sets to their existing products. Starting today, data providers who want to structure their data across multiple data sets or who want to enrich their products with additional data can now publish additional data sets to their products using the AWS Data Exchange console or programmatically using the AWS Marketplace Catalog API. Once a data set is added to a product, all new subscriptions will have access to the data set and existing subscribers will receive a CloudWatch Event notifying them of the availability of the new data set.

AWS Data Exchange makes it easy to find, subscribe to, and use third-party data in the cloud. Customers use AWS Data Exchange to subscribe to a diverse selection of third-party data products. Once subscribed, customers can use the AWS Data Exchange API or console to export the data they subscribed to Amazon S3, making it directly available for analysis using AWS’s analytics and machine learning services.
