AWS Launch Wizard now enables you to install SAP application software as part of the deployment process, with support for SAP NetWeaver on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BW/4HANA.
AWS Launch Wizard offers a guided way of sizing, configuring, and deploying AWS resources for third-party applications, including SAP HANA and HANA-based Netweaver applications. This launch eliminates the overhead associated with manually installing SAP application software on EC2 instances after the Launch Wizard deployment. Instead, you provide SAP software via an Amazon S3 bucket, then Launch Wizard downloads the software onto each instance as part of the deployment. Downloaded software is deleted from the instances after the deployment to save costs. You can provide SAP Software installation details such as ABAP Schema name, SAP System instance ID’s, Virtual Hostnames to configure the application per your requirements.
You can deploy SAP application software in single node, multi-node, or High Availability (HA) architectures. For HA deployments, all you have to do is configure SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Red Hat Linux Enterprise cluster software to protect SAP systems that have been deployed with Launch Wizard across multiple AWS Availability Zones.

- SAP Netweaver on HANA - 7.5 SPS02 and 7.5 SPS00
