AWS customers can now find, subscribe to, and deploy third-party Kubernetes applications from AWS Marketplace on any Kubernetes cluster, in any environment. This extends the existing AWS Marketplace for Containers capabilities. Previously, customers could find and buy containerized third-party applications from AWS Marketplace, and deploy them in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS). Customers can now deploy third-party Kubernetes applications to on-premises environments using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service Anywhere (EKS-Anywhere), or any customer self-managed Kubernetes clusters in on-premises environments or in EC2.

In AWS Marketplace, customers can find over 500 container applications from Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Each application is scanned for common vulnerability and exposures (CVE) before being made available in the catalog. By using AWS Marketplace, customers can manage upgrades with a few clicks, and track all of their licenses and bills in AWS Marketplace. Customers can discover commercial and open source Kubernetes-based applications from popular Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and deploy these applications in any Kubernetes environment in-minutes, whether it be in the cloud or on-premises. When using AWS Marketplace for Containers Anywhere, customers receive the same benefits as any other products in AWS Marketplace, including consolidated billing, flexible payment options, and lower pricing for long-term contracts.

This launch features products from Palo Alto Networks, JFrog, Veeam/Kasten, Prosimo, Nirmata, Trilio, Solodev, Isovalent/Cilium, HAproxy, and D2iQ. Click here to see all container products available in AWS Marketplace.
