AWS now further enhances the Chinese yuan payments experience for payment of invoices from Amazon Web Services, Inc. ("AWS Inc.").
From February 24, 2022, all customers who are based in China can activate Chinese yuan payments from the Payment Methods page of the Billing and Cost Management console. With Chinese yuan payments enabled, customers can pay their AWS Inc. invoices through Bank redirect and China UnionPay credit card in Chinese yuan from the Payments page of the Billing and Cost Management console. The enhanced Chinese yuan payments expand the segment of supported China customers and improve the single transaction amount accepted.
